In this puzzle game, you move your explorer characters toward the exits and away from hazards, such as mummies and bottomless pits, by placing a limited number of directional arrows on the ground. Though the graphics in Arrow Antics suffice, the soundtrack is outstanding. We found the gameplay intriguing, requiring a good deal of spatial thinking. Learning to play can bog you down at first, but once you get the hang of it, the real challenge begins. The action levels, wherein you play against the clock, let you pick up and move the arrows. The easy-to-use level editor helps you quickly design new mazes. Our only major complaint is you can't increase the hunters' speed to more quickly try various solutions. Fans of strategic-puzzle games should find Arrow Antics worth a trial.
