Publisher's description of Array (OS X)
From zero k:Array is an easy-to-use animation program. If you know the children's toy where you poke transparent colored pegs through a backlit screen (LiteBrite), Array uses the same idea, but with multiple screens, to create animation. You color points on a sequence of frames. There are various functions to manipulate the points. You can play, save, and reload your animation. You can export your animation as a Flash movie.

Version: Array (OS X) 1.3
"Unbelievable, cross-platform introduction to animation!"
Pros: This program I have used with children for my introductory computer class. See examples at csuncomputerclass.com . It teaches children layers and runs on any PC with Java. Animations could also simply be exported to flash for sharing on the web.
Cons: I don't like that development seems to have stopped.
Could become an even better application if Medium K keeps working on it!!

Version: Array (OS X) 1.3
Summary: If you are bored and don't have anything to do: Don't download this. Animating a grid of little dots is not that fun.
