    Version: Arrange Startup 3.3

"Works fine, but could be improved."

    by Zane77 on January 30, 2008

Pros: Arrange Startup has a dark blue, light blue, and white interface. It shows all startup programs, that start when windows starts up.

It's easy to disable startup programs, click the name of the startup program and click delete from startup. To enable a startup program click undo, because it creates a backup of all deleted startup programs.

When you click a startup program at the bottom of the interface, it shows the program name, location, version, and sometimes other information. And it has a previous and next button to select startup programs. One more thing it has is a Google search to search all startup programs.

Cons: The improvement it needs would be to have check boxes next to the startup programs, to disable startup programs by unchecking a box.

    "Other (easier) ways"

    by darkcloud617 on May 21, 2006

Pros: It's free, It kind of does what it says.

Cons: Click start, programs, startup, and choose what you want to take out. Or click run and msconfig... there you go. Or you can try this program, which didnt do much of what it says. My computer still was opening all the programs at the beginning (then arrange startup opened) after that it put the programs in order. I would say this program is mostly a waste of time. try it- but doubt you will like it.

    "FREE............Says who???"

by bounders on May 6, 2007

Pros: Works like a charm, speeds up boot time.

Cons: If the publisher states it's FREE with no limitations, then why the nag screens and the charge of $7.00/month for the software when once it does it's initial job it's no longer needed.

    "program sucks"

by poppa bear on June 17, 2007

Pros: it was free to try

Cons: after removing start-up programs it would not put them back when told to. Be real careful what you remove, If it were Free it would be OK, but I would not pay for it.
