"Not impressed. Provokes to many problems."
Pros: The usual things, the cover flow and the ease of importing podcasts.
Cons: Apart from the above, nothing. On several occasions it has wiped my Ipod. Even as it syncs, when it chooses to sync, it wipes episodes that have been previously loaded.
Summary: The worst thing of all, every time I sync my I pod, it's a white knuckle affair. Trying to find important wiped files, that are stored on several external hard drives, is a lousy advertisement for the hardware. I find myself rigid in front of my lapt... read more

Pros: Nice interface and direct connect to the Apple Store. New home sharing which I have not tried yet, but it looks cool. Nice back up and restore feature built in. Customizable play list.
Cons: very very slow at start up and it uses a lot of CPU when it is syncing.
Summary: iTunes is good but it is way too slow while it is running. I wish there was another way to sync my iPod Touch but there is not so I have to use it. It is good software other the speed. Maybe it is faster on a Mac, but I don't have Mac money. read more

"Cause multiple problems with windows XP & Vista"
Pros: iTunes is a convenient location to store music and audiobooks for transfer to an iPOD.
Cons: Version 9.0 has caused serious problems for many users. First, upon upgrade I kept getting the blue screen when I inserted a CD and iTunes was running. After uninstalling/re-installing my DVD drive is no longer recognized. Don't download iTunes 9!
Summary: Don't download iTunes 9 for any reason. There are multiple bugs and conflicts between iTunes 9 and Windows based PC (Both XP and Vista). Keep your current version until Apple gets their act together! read more
