Version: Apple QuickTime 7.6.2
"SUCKS! Don't upgrage from version 6.5.2"
Pros: I wish I could say something nice about it. But there isn't nothing good to say.
Cons: 1. Try to download 4 times, all the downloads kept getting corupted, finally downloaded it and it took 23 minutes.
2. While installing it will force you to install iTunes, which I have no use for.
3. The installation is a nightmare, it takes forever and if you have 6.5.2 Pro version it will take it away and gives you the basic version.
4. Better have an extra copy of the installation of your previous version because they have removed them all from their website except for this sucky 7.0 version. You can't even download a version for Windows 98.
5. iTunes is very difficult to uninstall especially if you don't have enough room on your computer for it and you just need Quicktime.
6. The Quicktime 7.0 player locks up my computer and I have to kill it with the taskmanager. Version 6.5.2 worked perfectly. So in other words, it doesn't work and sucks!
7. After all of this, now you have to uninstall it and it is as bad as the installation was. Takes about 4 reboots to completely get rid of it.
8. If your Quicktime player works alright, then just don't upgrade to the worthless 7.0 version. If you don't have Quicktime and you need it to play your files, then search for "Quicktime Alternative" on Google or Yahoo. Or you can get an old version at www dot oldversion dot com.

Version: Apple QuickTime 7.6.2
"Very intrusive and annoying player!"
Pros: Nice interface.
Cons: QuickTime is one of those default players put into Mac systems, however it's very intrusive on Windows too! Although this player has a nice interface, there are other better media players that look good as well and uses less resources than QuickTime. QuickTime is also necessary to install when using iTunes. It's almost like a forced product just for Apple to gain more hits on QuickTime (one of those players that are not even useful. I'd hate to say it but even Windows Media Player does a better job!)
When I also had this installed with iTunes, I decided to uninstall it (iTunes does NOT function without QuickTime), other than that, QuickTime was and IS not very useful. I asked it to close the system tray icon, and it still came back up permanently on every startup. Disabled its services, and yet it still runs. It's like I am being stalked. And worst of all, I uninstalled it, and it was still stuck on my Add/Remove Programs with no file size or any info. I had to use go through a whole journey just to find a way to remove it!
I'd stay away from this!

Version: Apple QuickTime 7.6.2
Pros: Some things just got to be played with QuickTime 6.5.2, but there are loads of media players which can do the same thing.
It is very easy to install and use. It dose not have a lot of features but it good if you want to play back something. It installs some useful codec which are very valuable for your pc to play many things audio and video.
It provides you with good sound quality and good picture quality with is important.
Cons: starts up everytime(but you can change that)

Version: Apple QuickTime 7.6.2
Pros: The newer versions have added a nicer, more user-friendly UI. It's free though they have an optional upgrade. Needed for a lot of online Videos and other media.
Cons: You can download quicktime alternative, which will allow WMP to act in place of this, still a nice media player to add to the collection.

"App you must have, seems perhaps less stable"
Pros: A must have to view many types of videos including movie trailers from apple.com. I've viewed larger videos, higher resolutions I mean and had the app freeze up several times. Overall it's pretty good but certainly not perfect.
