Quicktime player letters/images appear "fuzzy", as if they are meant to be viewed on an Iphone or small screen.
Summary
Overall, this is terrible. I was hoping for something that would allow me to convert files easily so I can view and edit them (imovie) on the ipad. Secondarily, I was looking for software that I could use to make, edit, etc, movies. I'm not sure what I got for $30, honestly! As far as I'm concerned, this was very counter-apple, as it wasn't very easy to use, made little sense (zero intuitiveness) and generally just makes me frustrated. At this point, I STILL cant convernt or upload video to my ipad from a third party source (HD Camcorder).

Summary
Every time I have tried to install QuickTime it gives me me the above error and keeps repeating until it uses up my memory. I have installed over a dozen times and each time I have to un-install it. Plus, Apple does not support this or iTunes when you have a problem, especially if you are running Windows.

For whatever reason we have trouble installing QT pro after purchase. Called to get assistance. 2 1/2 hours later they where unable to offer a solution that worked and flatly refused to refund the money. So, not only where we out of the purchase price but 2 1/2 hours on hold.

Don't have much use for it except when required for webpage.

I don't use this software except when webpage requires it. It seems to work well when needed but I use other media players.

It's needed to play some video formats. It's free. It doesn't have viruses or eat your dinner when your back is turned.

It hogs resources.
For years qttask has inserted itself into my startup folder - resisting many attempts to disable it.
It isn't as good as other players.
It's foisted on us by Apple.Summary
Perhaps I've been a bit harsh with two stars - but why did CNET give it five? Other players are much more user friendly and less intrusive. For all Apple's complaints about Flash, their own software isn't exactly peace, love and happiness ...
