    "apple dvd player is also called mac dvd player"

    Pros

    apple dvd player is very convertient for me to playback my dvd media file on Mac

    Cons

    when I want to directly play my dvd on apple dvd player,it can't do that,so I need a third part program which can help me copy dvd to dvd media file,then I can play that!

    Summary

    Mac DVD Player, formerly named Apple DVD Player, is the default DVD player in Mac OS X. It supports all the standard DVD features such as multiple audio, video & subtitle tracks as well as Dolby audio, dvd@ccess URLs and closed captions. Since it is the official player for Mac, Mac users will get used to that.
