• Easy to Use!

  Easy to use. Good documentation. Support forum. LOTS of features! And contrary to what a previous reviewer stated, you can limit user privileges for view/edit/delete on each area of your DB.

  Cons

  Program had a few bugs on it's recent release, however, the developer is very responsive to emails and corrects issue quickly.

  Summary

  I'm not a programmer. I volunteer for a nonprofit group and we've been paying a lot of $$$ per year for an online database service. We've tried several and had problems each time. It also keeps getting more expensive the more data we store. AppGini allowed me to create a database on our hosted server where we have unlimited storage space. It's great! I highly recommend AppGini to anyone with a basic understanding of databases. Great alternative to expensive cloud DB services!

• Easiest code generator I ever used

  I wanted to create a real estate gallery for a client, with the ability to easily edit its contents. Since I have almost zero experience in web development, but good one in web design, I searched for some code generator that could help me with this project. <p> <p>Appgini came handy. It offers a very easy way of managing image and pdf uploads. I created my gallery in no time. My client can now access his admin interface and add new items, with photos and PDF brochures. She can also edit and remove old items. The interface is very straightforward and she took no time to understand it. Her website visitors can very easily navigate and search the gallery. <p> <p>The customer support is awesome. I needed to customize the search form for visitors, and I got excellent advice from the developer. I highly recommend this program as it saves a lot of time, costs, and frustration.

  Cons

  I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 only because it lakes user login features. So, if you want to let every user edit their own database entries but only view others, look some where else. However, Appgini is great for creating admin interfaces and public view-only interfaces.

  never go to try it on account of the application needing a purchase only program to import mysql databases.

  Cons

  the AppGini is on a free trial but it requires the use of mysql2AppGini application to import the needed mysql database for php generation. mysql2AppGini is not on a free trail basis, so in order to use the trial AppGini trial you need to buy the mysql2AppGini application.
