Mencoder.exe hammered the cpu for the duration of the conversion. And the output file was terrible.

Bought the "ultimate" version ($44.95). It never worked -- freezes my computer so violently that only crashing it by unplgging the machine, or holding power depressed, works (even ctrl+alt+del does nothing).
But the BIG problem is the company. They claimed full refund, no questions asked, if dissatisfied, but they have completely ignored my requests for refund -- they sent me an email just telling me to reinstall, but after insisting on a refund, they have not responded whatsoever to my messages. I have had to file via paypal.
Am rather shocked, to say the least, at the company's behavior. -

I used to be a user of Any DVD Converter which is also produced by anvsoft, but end up with finding some of the functions of the free version is locked. So i determine to buy the pro. version. It turned out that my choice was right, and i was able to converter much more formats than the free one. Happy about the so low price provided by cnet.

i am not that experienced on computer things, but i found confidence on this software..really easy handling, and can transfer many formats to what i want.. watch on iphone, ipad..i do love it.

Converts many types of audio and video formats. Downloads YouTube videos and converts them at the same time. Price is excellent for this software.
Cons
none that I can think of. Does everything that I need done well.

Excellent Audio and Video converter with YouTube down-loader and converter. Cant beat the price. Lots of updates during the year.

Convertion time is too short. Tried upgrading to premium but couldn't connect properly with website. My application kept returning to the starting point.
