Summary
I've been using this program for several years now and will be downloading the latest version. Great little program, does exactly what I need it to do - securely keep my passwords.
I use it almost daily. If they charged $5 for it I would pay for it too! -
"Full-featured, secure password management software!"
Version: Any Password 1.44
Pros
Stores passwords, software keys, account numbers - you name it - in a database that can be encrypted with a master password. Has a password generator. Uses clipboard for username and password at logins.
Cons
None I can think of. Has performed flawlessly for me for over three years on three different operting systems: Win 98, 2000, and XP.
Summary
A superb password manager for a great price: free. No ads or nagscreens.
Main features of the program are:
Hierarchical data structure. You can arrange an unlimited number of records using the nested folders. All records are represented in a tree form.
Strong encryption algorithm. The program encrypts data files using IDEA/MD5 algorithms. So, unauthorized access to the files is practically impossible.
Incremental search. You can easily find a record by entering a substring into the search field.
Password generator allows you to generate unique passwords. You can specify the characters that will be used in the passwords and set any password length.
Multiuser interface. The program can be used by several people. Each person can have one or several data files -
