"the best anti-trojan program"

Pros
AntiVir removed three trojans from my system that other anti-adware programs could not. Bit Defender could not even detect them, one of them would lock Ad Aware up, and SUPER Anti-spyware simply detected them but could NOT remove them (however, SUPER Anti-spyware detected 60 others). AntiVir knocked them all out, no problems. Those Germans don't mess around. AntiVir worked wonders for me and now my system is CLEAN!!! Easy to install and update too.

Very user friendly and has a nice userface. Easy to use and does all that it says. Takes up very little space and is not at all intrusive.

Pros
Very fast, tiny memory footprint, but very highly rated detection. Nice interface, schedulers for both updates and scans, clean, easy to use, very easy to configure. Fully integrated with Win XP SP2 Security Center. No nag screens either!
Cons
Can't think of a thing! I really do suggest you give it a go - seems superior to both AVG and Avast!

Best free antivirus software I have seen and tried so far, great real-time protection, automatic updates, scheduled scans if you choose.
Cons
No cons this is a great program recommend over AVG 7.5 and even Avast!

Pros
This product scans faster than any other antivirus i have used (norton, avast, AVG), It takes up only about 7MB of RAM and still provides excelent real-time protection. Found a trojan (virusblaster) varient that neither AVG, Norton, or Avast could pick up, and this program updates every day and sometimes even twice!
Cons
The User interface is a little sketchy and the little pop-up that comes up when you update your virus-definitions gets a little annoying, but that is about it.

Pros
simple design, very effective compared to every other free antivirus (and even norton!). I recommend using it over any other free software out there, but it works well along with others like avg panicware zone alarm, and spybot.
Cons
the only con is that it doesn't give the full potential of the actual pay for product.

The program downloads fast, but that's about it.

I downloaded AntiVir personal because of the reviews that it had gotten. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. After the restart, my computer was VERY slow. Upon deactivating the AntiVir virus guard which scans in realtime, my machine was as fast as it had been. I know that most other programs such as McAfee and Norton scan in realtime without the slowdown. I would think that a person would want any virus program to scan in real time as to avoid virus threats. It's sort of like closing the barn door after the horses have gotten out. You really don't want to take the chance of getting a virus while online, etc. Very disappointing.
