I don't know what sort of company is developing this software but I suspect they are new to this game and need a lot more attempts at developing something a bit more effective. Having downloaded and installed onto a computer running a 64 bit version of Windows 7 i tried it out on a number of adult sites but it didn't block a single one!! It didn't matter if i was running Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera it was as though it wasn't installed. I was using child mode and it was activated and i put it on all the recommended settings and i restarted my computer. I didn't even need to try out private browsing mode. The only time that it came up was when the browser tried to open a pop up window from this very website!! (hardly a hardcore porn site!) yet it was quite happy to shut down my browser! I have used other content blocking sites which i have downloaded for free and they at least made an effort at blocking a number of well known sites. There may be some settings you need to change but i couldn't find anything. You'd be better off getting a router that blocks the sites from there which is what i have done, at least it works!!
