"Great on XP, But Vista? Not."

    July 29, 2007  |   By mikeyindiana2001

    Version: Ant Movie Catalog 3.5.0.2

    Pros

    Great piece of software......

    Cons

But i recently bought a machine with Vista pre-installed and most text in the program is non-visible. Sorry to hear from such a great piece of software but you can't complain as it is open source.

Just gotta find a new catalog program and start over again...

    "Great piece of software!!!"

    April 8, 2007  |   By Fellowmelad

    Version: Ant Movie Catalog 3.5.0.2

    Pros

Sometimes you download (free) software and you have to plod around with it for ages to get it to do what it should do. Not so with this package!!! All menu items are logical and can be found easily.

I recently bought a DJ case (with numbered sleeves) for my DVD collection, and Ant Movie Catalog is perfect for making an index of all my films (to keep in the DJ case), but it also allows me to make a nice looking HTML overview with pictures that I can share with friends. Exporting to CSV or XML is also possible and you can choose all the fileds you want to export.

Ant Movie Catalog even gets the movie information from any online database you want (it even has a language filter so you can focus on the online sources in the language(s) of your choice), so you need to type in the title and off it goes! Great!

    Cons

I like everything about this package, the only (very little) snag for som users may be all the options there are. But as I said: all is very clear and logical, and the user interface is very good.
