    "A RIP OFF SHELL GAME"

by mike average user on December 3, 2005

    Pros: Nothing

Cons: I do not know where to start. Tech Support is by Email. Nice at first, unless you ask for you money back. Your not going to get it back by the way. The trial version seems to work ok, but my web browser seemed to shut down again and again after I install this thing. After you pay for it, good darn luck installing what they send you, let me tell you. You better pack a lunch, because your off to computerville looking for program files, unzipping, copyin', and pastin'. That was not fun and never did it WORK! The directions were, well let me say a bit hard to follow. Like saying it should be here and maybe there, yada, yada, yada... You want to waste 9.95 like me, then hey I can send you my address and get my $9.95 and spare you the pain of dealing with this crap.

    "Beware of this software"

    by 131mikem on March 27, 2006

    Pros: $9.95

Cons: First, you should be aware that this software uses a system called "CoDeen" to route your proxies. This system monitors and logs your activity for the "purpose of preventing abuses". In other words a group from something called "PlanetCd" (not sure of the spelling) is monotoring and logging what you do through their proxies. You will get a notice that you are using this service the first time you use the browser - but click on the "CoDeen" link and read the material - it states exactly what I said above. You may be anonymous to the websites you visit, but not to this group.

Secondly, amplus sends you a license key, but there is no way that I could find to enter it directly through the software - obviously some folks figured it out, so maybe i'm just lame in that area. Unfortunately, their tech support is also lame, and there is no phone service for help.

    "RIPOFF! DISABLES VIRUS PROTECTION!"

    by hdt99 on December 25, 2006

Cons: This company has a history of providing software that is a complete ripoff. I installed this product as well as another one from this same company and both disabled my anti-virus software. When I uninstalled it, it disabled or ruined many of my computer's functions and software such as Quicktime, mousepad, Mozilla, and Norton Anti-Virus.

    "BEWARE: NOT FOR SECURE PAGES"

by lahatz on May 23, 2005

Pros: Lets you access proxy servers in many nations, not just the US.

Cons: Advertised as "secure browsing and online privacy." Comes across as though you could use it to browse secure pages. The free trial download actually allowed me to browse some secure pages thru a Netherlands proxy. But when I had purchased the product, it no longer allowed me to browse those pages. If that's what you're looking for, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND! YOU WON'T GET FRIENDLY SUPPORT!
