Version: Anim-FX 3.5
"Poor programming and support"
Pros: Many of the effects look very flash
Cons: Proprietry script system is messy and incompatible with the best web design package out there WYSIWYG Web builder 4. Non-standard SWF script base files mean you can't just load an SWF into your design software. You need to cut and past HTML code into your designs to get to play properly. Unsusable if you need your text to stay up on the screen after appearing. Works as advertised ONLY if you use all 5 lines of text fields (Weird as what are the chances of needing exactly 5 lines of text?). Stuck with one font. No user manual. User instructions are inconclusive and spread out over their confusing amatuerishly designed website. There is litle point in having great looking effects if one is uable to have a minimum of control over modifying the paramerters.
The developer claims to have great support, but I found that if you have a problem, one is simply ignored until numerous attempts to question functionality. Repeated request for a refund where ignored by the Credit Card merchant and refused by the publisher. I guess they figure less that $30 isn't going to be persued.
