"Fun Online game, worth the money for a membership."

    September 20, 2006  |   By Gentlegiant1985

Version: Ancients of Fasaria: Lords of the Forgotten Moons 1

    Pros

Its a very fun game, enjoyable even as a free member, tons of weapons and armor, anime style art, lots of funky monsters.

powerful companions to make fighting easier, lots of spells. Once you do become a member, there are all kinds of things unlocked for you, bank use so you wont loose that hard earned cash, quests for even more fun, pvp using a neat unit based table, customizable avatars and instant teleportation to towns.. One of the best online web based games ive seen. Its worth more then the price, your getting a deal with Angels.

If you dont try it your nuts!

    "Great game, bad admin"

    September 18, 2006  |   By DarknessFalls2003

Version: Ancients of Fasaria: Lords of the Forgotten Moons 1

    Pros

This game has great gameplay. Personally it's my favourite type. You get to level up your characters and go on quests (members) and even buuld your own kingdom (members). There's plenty of people to chat and have fun with most of the time. I suggest trying the game at least once.

    Cons

The only flaw to the game is the admin. Be warned, he wants your money and is determined to get it. If you arent a member expect to be screwed over in some form. Never do anything unless you are 100% sure you will get the said reward from it, because he wont always say that its only for members and you might end up screwed in the end after all your work. I suggest getting membership as soon as you can so you dont have to put up with it.

    "A very Enticing Game!"

    September 17, 2006  |   By recca01982

Version: Ancients of Fasaria: Lords of the Forgotten Moons 1

    Pros

This game tops quite a few online games that I play now. I mean, how often can you stop playing FEAR to get your character in AoF to a higher level? Quite frankly, quite a bit. I was introduced to AoF from a friend of mine, who practically gushed about the game one day. So deciding to give it a shot, I dove into the world head first. Boy was he right. Within a week I had bought the full version of the game (which unlocks various items, as well as gives you access to the bank and a offline RPG) with a simple one time fee.

When I first played the game, I was welcomed with open arms, and felt like one of the group despite just starting the game that day. People had helped me get started, finding out what to do, as well as put up with my constant questions. If that weren't enough, there is always a moderator on to enforce calm debates, as well as keep spammers from flaming the chat room.

The game play is fantastic, reminding me of an older dragon quest (loved those games), and offers a intriguing companion system. The different types of companions that you get, gives you different bonus's! How is that for customization?

    Cons

simply put, there was nothing with the game I did not like.

    "The RPG of Warriors"

    September 15, 2006  |   By SD93981

Version: Ancients of Fasaria: Lords of the Forgotten Moons 1

    Pros

This game is stunning, simply put. Registration is easy and quick, and in seconds, you're through. Explore and map out the lands using the easy-to-use navigational tools, and fight monsters that vary in strength in different areas.

    Online Game:

The main features, I believe, of the online game, is the PvP system, Army & Kingdom system, and the factions.

The PvP system is based on a rock-scissors-paper system, and requires you to think. Or you can just pick a random one and hope you get lucky. Army and Kingdom has you owning acres of land, and Knights & Archers. Knights attack other kingdoms to take their lands, and Archers protect your kingdom from attack. This is a brilliant system.

The Four factions are Divine Knights, High Priests, Mystic Elves and Dominion's Order, each with their different views. Pick one after looking through their (frighteningly) detailed descriptions. The admins and general community are great!

Both: Both contain Mirel (in game currency) which can be used to buy a huge amount of weapons and armors. Companions are in both, giving your health, faith (akin to magic) and Travel (Needed to instantly travel to a previously visited city, town, etc.) a boost, or your attack and defence.

Quests are also a part of the game. Most of these quests are NOT required to do. Meaning you can pick a quest in any order, and do it. You might be able to find out about bonus quests if you do them as well.

Offline Game: The game can top some of the RPG games out right now, which is amazing, due to the game's price being $15 WITH access to the online game. It is somewhat similar to the Online game as well as Final Fantasy and such. The storyline is good, simple, but used well. I also like the weapon upgrades.

    Cons

    Erm...

Some balancing issues for the offline game are needed... Such as a Paladin can easily beat the last boss at lvl 65+, but a Ranger has trouble doing it at lvl 85+.

    "WOW!"

    September 14, 2006  |   By marsmamma

Version: Ancients of Fasaria: Lords of the Forgotten Moons 1

    Pros

This is amazing. Simply amazing. You must play this game. You. Can't. Miss. It. The Look is amazing, The battles are cool. You also can get companions like Angels, Priests, Soldiers, Hunters etc. The Travel system is UNBELIEVABLY WONDERFUL! The engine works great, the battles are random, the cities actually have COORDINATES! And no words can describe how cool the quests are: Every time you complete one town's all quests, you will get a bonus quest that gives you a LOT of money (Mirel) and experience. And the full access costs ONLY 14.45 dollars. IT'S WORTH IT!
