In the recent version, stupid tools including a registry manager that killed my PC(could not boot any longer - Thanks to Acronis I had recent image) have been added.
Now Anvir Pro is slow, non-responsive. they jeopardized the whole app.Summary
I will re-install a former version that I really used to enjoy. If someone has a recommendation for a fancy, professional process manager, I will certainly consider it.

Product works well its easy to install,good graphics,as I expect from a program like this good configuration,running silently on the background but it does its work very effectively.I have disabled one or two softwares took place win32 constantly repeated appear every time on the start up of my windows vista ultimate it could not possibly to remove normally by the uninstallers AnVir has stopped them forever I have ever seen those again.This is a great product every PC must have this.

I caught a nasty bug from myspace(i had been up for over 24 hours and was way off my game). The bug disabled task manager and created horrible popups and kept installing fresh spyware. Fixing the registry did no good, which told me it was a process. But the bug had disabled task manager. This program enabled me to take back my pc without taking it in for service or reformatting!

It already helped me to stop some viruses and trojans. It's just great. It can even show you, wich dll's and exe are used by a process!!! And you can find a task you've looked for much faster when you know it's icon, 'couse this prog is also showing you the icon of a process, so far there is one.

One month ago, in a downloading frenzy, I became infected with adware, malware, spyware, call it what you want. It was a NIGHTMARE! All of those hellish critters hatched into a worm and a trojan horse. My homepage got hijacked routinely. I NEVER thought I would have control of my computer again. I was losing my identity (literally). Not even my dog knew me! I spent hours & hours trying to "fix" my PC! One program wanted me to reinstall the spyware,etc. or my computer "wouldn't run correctly". Another AV program required me to edit items from my registry...the last place you would ever want me to be! I don't have a technical bone in my body and I needed serious help.
AnVir, by far, is the best anti-virus program on the market. They gave a 20-day trial of their program. Then you can purchase it for a year if you want. I bought it and I'm so cheap, I squeak when I walk!! After the initial set-up, it needs no user intervenion. You can see exactly what is running. If there is a virus, it removes it immediately...no fanfare, no notification, AnVir just fixes it. POOF...GONE!!! And after all of the hours of "fixing and editing"? Somewhere in cyberspace, there is a clone of my computer and me. -

I installed the program. It said i have *this virus* and it got rid of it. Nice work!
I've had so many problems with my computer to the point of getting a new one... I thought my computer was simply obsolete and that it couldn't handle the "newer stuff". I downloaded this Virus Destroyer and it is unbelievable how well and FAST my computer is. I used to get error messages, freeze ups, couldn't shut down properly, the list goes on. This virus destroyer killed everything affecting this machine. I love the fact that I can change the start-up, it allows me to run the least amount of programs when i start up. This alone speeds things up. It continues to get the well known kleiz virus that is from e-mails. I will definitely buy it. Very simple to use as well. I'm still amazed how fast everything is now.
