"the best flash animator for everyone"

    April 12, 2006  |   By minimyke

    Pros

AnFx is the best flash animator around,

not to mention its free! I had a fun time working with the editors and stuff, then previewing them in flash.

Everything for the most part worked nicely.

I dont know how this is free, yet there are some other ones out there that you have to pay for.

I am even considering buying a licence to it, so I can export to .swf and put stuff on my site.

    Cons

    not totally flawless though

I made a really cool project, and I was all hyped up to view it in .swf,

Then it said "abnormal program ternmination"

besides that being a prob. does anyone have a way to fix it? mail: mcw7267@gmail.com

DONT SEND SPAM OR BE SORRY

    2. you cant export to flash .swf, unless you pay $30 somthin' which is what I wanted to do anyway

but overall, great product, GET IT ITS WORTH IT

We have completely changed the trial mode of AnFX. From version 5.3.3.4 the trial is fully functional for 15 days. In relation to your comment: yes, it is now possible to export to Flash in the trial version.

If you have found a way to make AnFX end with an 'abnormal program termination' then please provide us with the details of how it occurs so that we can reproduce it at our office. The first person to provide us with details of a way to cause an 'abnormal program termination' which we can reproduce and then subsequently fix will receive a free license for the product.

In regard to AnFX being free - AnFX, like most software, is written by people just like you who have to eat, pay mortgages, rent etc., so unfortunately we have to charge for it! If we didn't charge for it then it would not be the fantastic tool that it is today - having been under constant evolution, development and improvement since 1996. As always you get what you pay for in this world! Pay nothing and you'll probably get something that's worth nothing. Pay a reasonable price for AnFX and you'll get a great product - no surprises there.
