"To talk about Alice and not mention the graphics would be madness!"
Version: American McGee's Alice demo
Summary
Its the Quake 3 engine (enough said already). The textures are crisp, especially if you have a 32mb or 64mb vid card, and the polygon counts are so high its almost crazy! Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is blocky in this game! I have lots of action games but my favorites are Half-Life, No One Lives Forever, and Alice. Personally, my favorite video cards are anything from nVidia (GeForce, TNT, Vanta, etc.), but ATI is also gives some awesome video cards like the RADEON. If you have an nVidia or ATI vid card the game will be awesome, especially at higher resolutions. the minimum RAM is 64mb, but I recommend 128mb,(I'm runnung it in 192mb),and a PIII 500 or higher with a GeForce or a Radeon, with at least 32 mb VRAM. If You have a good system you'll love this game!

"This is just an awesome game"

Summary
I havent played the demo, but i saw it on the shelf at k mart for 20 bucks and bought it. I love the theme of this game, it is very twisted. my system is a litle sluggish to run on full graphics mode, but even on low graphics i have been amazed by the layout of this game, it looks great. and i cant get enough of the retarded kids that laugh when you beat them. They only complaint i have is that i cant get my logitech thunderpad to work with the game, so i have to use my keyboard and mouse.

"A quickly made, clumsily put together excuse for a modern FPS!"
Version: American McGee's Alice demo
Summary
Obviously trying to meet their release deadline, Alice has been quickly thrown together, missing out features and touches all over the place. Gameplay is boring and repetetive. The graphics are terrible, compared to what obviously can be done with the Quake 3 engine, as we see with Quake 3 itself. Loading is slow, ugly, and the music is dated. The maps are very lacking in atmosphere and content, textures and skins are low resolution, and the models are extremly low in polygons (where did the model quality option go?). The idea is origonal, but it doesn't portray Alice in wonderland as accuratly or strangely as it could have. Although its not the worst I've seen, I wouldn't go out and buy it!

"Don't waste your time with this Download"
Version: American McGee's Alice demo
Summary
This download file has a transfer error. The demo may be great, but I've never seen it. I've downloaded this two different times to make sure (and with a 56k, that is no fun task).
