I don't like war. Actual war. But I love games. Chess. Go. Starcraft. Quake. GTA. What have you, and as games go, this is fantastic and totally immersive. While I don't like our leadership, I've always wished I was a little more disciplined and curious about what life is like in the ranks.
This game is an insight into one of the most peculiar of American Institutions. Not only that, it looks great, but it's one of the best combat sims out there. I'm happy this developer supports the Mac. And for freeware? This is one of the best titles for the Mac, even compared to $50 titles like Medal of Honor. -

Politics?? Who cares!! This is a great game!! And... It's Free!! Whoa!! This is easily better than every Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon type game that is out there. I played this for awhile on my PC and I welcome this version to the Mac. I downloaded and played it and it is pretty much the same as the PC.
It runs great on my 733 G4 with a GeForce 2 MX. The price is right, go get this one!!

to see that they have to charge people on the Mac platform and (to my knowledge) never charged the "other folk."
Never will I pay $6 to the Army for this insult. -

Just like others here, I have tried unsuccessfully to download the program 3 times and all three times when clicking on the download button was given the msg "NOT AUTHORIZED TO DOWNLOAD FILE". And just like the others, my money was taken and nothing given in return. I even tried to use a PC but it was given the FORBIDDEN 403(?) error. In short, this is a joke to try and download. -

Downloaded it (for $5.95) without a hitch (via my DSL connection). Went through the Basic Training in about 15 minutes. Graphics are sharp and smooth on my dual 1GHz MDD G4, Geforce 4 Ti, 1Gb RAM and OS 10.2.6. Plays like a combo of Soldier of Fortune II and Medal of Honor. I haven't started playing online though, so the jury is still out on my multiplayer experience. -

I paid the $6 requested, but the download link they gave me was dead. This appears to be what is happening to most mac users who purchase this, and tech support has ignored my queries. I would recommend steering clear for now.
