"Easy, Complete Avast! Removal"

Pros
After trying multiple other products, this one downloaded easily and quickly. Runs from "Safe Mode" efficiently and effectively. Excellent instructions. I'm a novice, and run an old Windows XP Professional on a Windows 2000 platform with an old Avast! program that nothing else has been able to remove.
Cons
Need to go through "safe mode" to find it in "downloads" and run program. Does not say to just "save" to computer, but gives a "run" option. I wouldn't suggest using the "run" option as you need to reboot and be in "safe mode."
Summary
If you have problems removing Avast! then go to the FAQ page of Avast! under "uninstall," and download this nice little program, run it from "safe mode," let it do its work. Then go back into "downloads" and "delete" the program. Follow instructions meticulously.

Avast 6 hung up on me and I could"nt install Avast 7.Downloaded this and it worked a treat.

If you have Avast 6.0 and want to uninstall it use REVO and it will remove it.
