- Synchro View: Synchro View allows you to see your progress in real time, you can also display two way synchronized code/design. Valuable time saver when dealing with large files and looking for a particular piece of information.
- Quick Edit: Right click enabled HTML tags for fast wizard supported updates. Covers all essential tags!
- Assignments: Quick access to works in progress. Enter a name and project path + Add + OK. Your assignment is now available via a dropdown menu at the top of your 'Directory window".
- CSS Wizard: Intuitive Style Sheet Wizard allows you to create/update either internal or external style sheets (CSS1 - CSS2).
- Turf View: A somewhat unusual real estate view of your project. Convenient if you a have a small screen. Turf gives you complete "right click"control over Alleycode.
- Optimizer: Alleycode includes you a very useful "Optimizer" wizard which will help you keep your meta content accurate and search engine friendly.
CNET Editor's Note: Note: If you are upgrading from version 1.2 you should do a clean install to benefit from our new installation engine, meaning you must uninstall v1.2 before installing v2.13.
To uninstall v1.2: 1) Double click "My computer" on your desktop. 2) Double click "Control Panel". 3) Double click "Add/Remove Programs" and double-click 'Alleycode HTML1.2' (aslo applies to 1.0 and 1.1) in the list box. 4) InstallShield will remove all related components
What's new in this version:
- Corrected PHP syntax highlighting to recognize PHP built-in functions with or without a space before opening parentheses
- Added Mozilla and Firefox in browser selection. Removed Netscape
- Enabled file association(MSExplorer). File association is not 'forced' on installation, must be done manually ie: Tools->Folder Options->File Types.
- Fixed 'Access Violation Error' when calling Properties repeatedly.
- Fixed 'Access Violation Error' when trying to open Syn... see all new features
