"I need this program"
Version: AllMusicConverter 4.1.0
Pros
This is the only program I know of that converts m4p to mp3. If you buy an album from itunes, you should have the right to play that song on a different brand mp3 player. This program allows you to do that.
Cons
nothing wrong with this program
Summary
This is the only program I know of that converts m4p to mp3. If you buy an album from itunes, you should have the right to play that song on a different brand mp3 player. This program allows you to do that. The new video conversion function is very fast and allows you to uninstall other video conversion programs.

"Simple to use, trial limited to 90 second conversion"
Version: AllMusicConverter 4.0.4
Pros
Simple to use and does convert from ITUNES AAC
Cons
none other than the poor reviews here and that fact that you have to pay $19
Summary
OK product for converting protected ITUNES music to mp3s , but is there a better out there for the same price or cheaper. I will keep looking..

"They Suck, they suck, they suck, they really suck!"
Version: AllMusicConverter 4.0.4
Pros
None, nada, zero, zip.
Cons
They suck, they really suck! Their installation takes over your destop and quick launch area. and they limit their trail conversion to 90 seconds.
Summary
They are responsible through non-disclosure of the trail limitations and wasted enough time I could not convert an iTunes ACC to the MP3 I needed for my fathers funeral. Lower than pond scum. I would rather lick the scum of a dead cows butt than use their software!

"beware the activation code"
Version: AllMusicConverter 4.0.0
Pros
I bought this software a year or so ago and was happy with how it worked. It works very well with itunes and preserves all the tags.
Cons
The last time I tried to use it, it said that the system ID that the software was registered to was different and it would not work. I have not changed PC's so I don't know why it thinks I did.
Summary
The way this software determines if it has been installed on a different computer sucks. I would not buy it for that reason.Buy conversion software that comes on a CD so that you can reinstall it if need be.

"Very unstable. Ziltch in customer support"
Version: AllMusicConverter 3.8.6
Pros
Absolutely none!
Cons
A 250 character allotment would not be enough to cover this category. I will say this: They are happy to take your money and then it's adios. If for any reason you have to re-install it will cost you another $19.99.
Summary
Stay away from these people.Go with Tunebite.

"Cannot get a license code after purchase"
Version: AllMusicConverter 3.9.4
Pros
NONE! Cannot use the product!!!
Cons
I purchased the product with the additional updates. I did NOT receive a license code. I DID receive illegible email. I have sent several email over the last SIX DAYS and have had NO RESPONSE from AllMusicConverter.com.
Summary
I'm going to contact my credit card company and tell them to REMOVE the charge from my account. I cannot activate and not sure I'm even interested at this point!

"UTTER GARBAGE, Ruined my whole music collection"
Version: AllMusicConverter 3.9.4
Pros
Nothing at all, do not use or buy this
Cons
I bought the full version, and it was the biggest waste of money, and they will not give me a refund. They just ignore you. Turned my whole music library to the same one song. Lost the whole lot. DO NOT USE!!

"Trial only lets you convert 90 seconds"
Version: AllMusicConverter 3.8.6
Pros
Waste of time
Cons
Trial only lets you convert 90 seconds
Summary
Another Cnet.com timewaster.
How are we supposed to TRY this software to see if we want to buy it when it only lets you convert 90 seconds of a song??
The developers must be living i another world if they think people will actually buy their software in this manner.

"Great program - but causes some 'system stability'"
Version: AllMusicConverter 3.4.5
Pros
Simple interface, fast, multi-threaded, does the job.
Cons
Can cause "System instability". Nothing serious - just moments when PC appears to freeze. I'm guessing it causes some conflicts & you need to wait for that conflict to 'time out' before Windows 'comes back'. UK pricing is HARSH. $30 becomes £48 :-(
Summary
If you need to convert loads of files from one format to another - with pure conversion - ignoring all other issues - then it is a good choice. But DO NOT INSTALL IT on your main box as it may cause some lock-ups. Put it on another PC on your network - do the conversions there - and pick up the polished files later :~)
