"This program can't find my sound card"

I open it up and play music...nothing happens. I have had problems with all types of recorders and my vista equipped dell c521and finding my sound card..they only show line in, line out, and mic. which do no good.

Pros
This program has essential functionality such as configurable fade-in and fade-out, excellent trimming facilities, a much needed UNDO button, and capability of saving in all needed formats. Its relatively easy to use and beats the socks off some of the other WAV splitters I've tried here.
Cons
"Play" should always start from the 00:00 position and not from where one clicks. Another button should be created "Play from current position" if this functionality is desired.

The freeware is a treat.
Cons
... so I purchased the registration key. Unfortunately, it never worked and despite several emails both to 1st benison and to RegSoft I never had a solution to the problem. Play with it but do NOT buy it.
