Version: All Media Fixer 4.6
Pros: simple and easy
Cons: It allows you to use it only once. It didnt fix the only file I was able to test it with, a partially downloaded file.

"Don't even bother downloading it."
Pros: Small installation size. if it has to fix a file it will fix it else it will waste your time.
Cons: can not fix most of the files. simply counter goes on rolling and after that you are back where you were. it also very unstable and very confusing interface .

Pros: i tried to fix many video files which are not playable.but this software just show some numbers rolling and do nothing.it wont even output the repairing video.all it shows is that it is repairing the input video.waste of time.

Pros: As I didn't get to try it then I cannot comment on how well or not it does the job it is supposed to.
I can comment on the lack of information in the interface though: It is simple and clear enough, big buttons, almost for someone who is a bit simple. Don't they realise that most people can figure out how to press a button and, instead of one click no -brainier stuff would like to have an 'advanced' optional section too?
In the settings you get to change the fixing mode from 'mode 1 up to mode 8' nowhere does it tell you what these modes even mean.
I didn't like that anyway but read on...
Cons: Program installed simple. I run it.
I click to open a file for fixing and navigate to this XviD file that, although I managed to get it playing in one media player, has been causing errors in my usual one and even GOMplayer which can mostly play everything!
As soon as I selected the XviD file and the program was about to load it into the list, the program window just DISAPPEARED!
Yep, gone.
I thought maybe the file was corrupted beyond what the software could handle...so I tried a few different movie files ranging from a 5Mb WMV, 150Mb DivX AVI, 700Mb DivX AVI, 200Mb MP4, 65Mb MPEG, 550Mb MPG and I am sad to say that EVERY single file I tried to load only caused an immediate disappearing of the program window.
So this program sucks big time.
I accept there may be a conflict with something on my PC or other reasons but it would be pretty simple for the developers to provide a log of errors so that I could determine the cause.
I would NEVER buy this!!

Cons: Does absolutely nothing except copy the damaged file! Tried it on tree different media files with different issues, and it did`nt do squat....
