This privacy tool lives up to its name by erasing data from just about every nook and cranny of your PC. Like many similar apps, All Cleaner erases Web-surfing tracks from Internet Explorer, Netscape, and AOL by deleting temporary files, typed URLs, and the history. A cookie manager lets you select which cookies to keep and which to erase. The attractive, polished interface is both a pleasure to look at and to use, though it can't be resized for easier scrolling. Clicking the Categories icon lets you delete various system-related files and e-mails, as well as cloak traces from many third-party applications. The ability to erase tracks from IM clients such as MSN, Yahoo, and ICQ is a nice touch, as is the scheduling feature. If you're concerned about security, All Cleaner lets you password-protect access to the program and offers several methods for securely shredding files. Since the program covers almost every base when it comes to privacy protection, we have no trouble giving All Cleaner our seal of approval.
