  "One word...Great."

  Pros

  The virtual hardrive allowd for great storage space. Alcohol can put files on to CD's that other programs can't or won't allow. The sky's the limit with this program. You can emulate Music CD's, DVD's, and even computer or video games. Good overall.

  Cons

  Sometimes has errors in the CD's it makes making the programs not work.

  "The Only One I Use"

  Pros

  This is the best software for emulating cds and dvds

  Cons

  i havent seen any software out there like this one. so unless there is competition than there arent any cons

  "excellent feature set, needs more polish"

  Pros

  powerful cd backup features

  supports every cd image type i know of

  create and burn images of protected cds

  multiple virtual drives

  Cons

  can't make iso images from files on hard disk

  i couldn't burn any dvds with it, maybe media problem

  no tray icon for virtual drives!

  "Ok, but trial is limited and better free programs are out there."

  Pros

  Alcohol 120% is a neat little program that allows the creation of virtual CDs. It is easy to use and create virtual CDs in very little time.

  Cons

  The downside of Alcohol 120% is that the trial period is limited. After the time is expired, it will not function anymore. Also, the virtual CDs it creates can sometimes have glitches, causing them to malfunction. Better virtual CD creating programs are available for free.
