Publisher's description of Ahriman's Prophecy
Explore a medieval fantasy world to stop a dark prophecy. You must embark on more than 40 quests, fighting monsters to gain strength, status, and power. How you destroy Ahriman depends on the choices you make during your journey. You can become evil or holy, persuade other characters to join you on your journey, get extra help from a guild, steal, or even get married if you feel like it.
In version 2.1 several bugs have been fixed; 75 percent of the graphics have changed; and 30 percent of the music has changed.

Version: Ahriman's Prophecy 2.1
Pros: The RPG is great, it had music, sounds, everything. I was playing this game while I was trying to get XP reinstalled in my computer.
Cons: I don't understand it ... the battle system, keyboard controls, everything you have to use a controller for, it's just to darn hard to handle. And I agree with most people about the monsters making cheap shot attacks. Like, the only game I was familiar with growing up as a kid was "EarthBound", and even that battle system is better compared to this one.
Oh yeah, I did have to patch the font to get it readable also w/o problems.

Version: Ahriman's Prophecy 2.1
Pros: Fun, addictive, nice storyline, nice and very suitable music, small download, easy controls (for keyboard)
Cons: Font hard to read, very basic battle system. But hey, IT'S FREE.

Version: Ahriman's Prophecy 2.1
Pros: Nice console rpg style graphics, good story, not bad for a free game.
Cons: In my opinion the way battles are carried out let the game down. It's done Secret of Mana style (a good game btw), but you have to be pretty much EXACTLY adjacent to the enemy you're fighting in order to hit with a melee weapon. Thing is, every time you are adjacent to the enemy, they hit you about 90% of the time, so you're pretty much trading hits. Also, every time you run past an enemy, you will get "hit" when you are already halfway across the screen.
I've since deleted this game out of frustration.

Version: Ahriman's Prophecy 2.1
Pros: Loved the environment and the quests. Thought the characters were quirky. I had so much fun that I couldn't stop playing!
Cons: Battle system was too simple.
