Version: Agnitum Outpost Firewall Free 2009
"Totally Impressed.."
Pros: I was not expecting a free firewall to pass the Pc Flank leak test..
Cons: Had troubles with the pro version of this product..
Summary: Just to get things straight. I own over 20 paid licenses for security software.. With that out of the way, I would recommend this firewall in a heart beat.. Not only is it (Basic) if your IQ is above 50, But it is totally functional. Not only did it passed all the Stealth test, But conquered one of the toughest leak tests from Pc Flank.. The interface has a security test link that will hook you up to Pc Flank.. Most security software will do the opposite and avoid this site.. As said in the cons: box, I first tried the pro version and could not seem to get past my home page, No matter what. This could have been from a corrupt down-load. Non the less I know my way around a Firewall and the more option the better for me.. The Free outpost firewall has just the necessary option and as long as it works well or better than my Favorite (Comodo Firewall) I can do with out the extra toys.. The interface is very professional and to the point. Meaning, It is attractive and has the basic Important details needed.. No more, No less.. Only wish I could have gave it 6 stars..
