Extraordinary useful for finding files

Fast (especially on a relatively fast computer)
Now use on a Win7 64.

One minuscule issue: The cool icon on the new version has no white background, so it doesn't show up on a dark desktop or task bar. However, it is possible to import the icon from the earlier version that did have a white background. Problem solved.
Summary
I use Agent Ransack every day to find things on three drives and a zillion directories. Mostly I search by some part of a file name, but sometimes by a word or phrase in a file. There are other good searchers but this is the best, at least for me. Bravo.

wish it would let you open the file where the search string is - that would be a nice feature

Win7 doesn't support old DOS Grep so you will have to use something
This program is fast, simple/straight forward design.
I've used it a few times and it has found what I was looking for
