Summary
The game appears to have more variety in terms of civilizations, units, etc. than AofE II or Galactic Battlegrounds, and it is much prettier. You have nice animated waves, and the trees actually fall down. However, they don't appear to have changed the engine much- game play is a lot like AofE II.
Take home message- buy it if you like AofE, but not until the price drops a bit. -

JEEZ!!!! *** ARE THEY TRYING TO PULL? the gameplay is SOOO much like Age of Empires that it isn't funny. Also, the graphics STINK!!!! They are even worse than age of empires. Sure, we got new features such a mythological units, and heroes, and other things, but al least they could have come up with something more original. In short, save yourself time, money, and grief by not buying and playing this, and get something like age of empires or empire earth. I wouldn't be suprised if they *stole* many of the Age of Empires factors.

I downloaded this trial only an hour ago and after 10 minutes of playing I know one thing: I'm gonna buy this game! If you like age of empires, this one is a must!
The graphics are downright beautiful!
But make sure you have a up-to-date pc, this game needs a lot of memory, graphics ram & cpu power.... -
