"works but doesn't"
Version: AeroFS 0.4.192
syncs, is a legitimate replacement for windows live mesh, does not rely on COSTLY cloud networks, runs in background, does not effect download and upload speed if on the same network, can sync over a the internet, truly only limited by the size you your hard drive,
is broken, does not like to sync and backup music, inconstant syncing (like you change something on one it is likely to be reverted by the other, among other things), is generally buggy or faulty,
i am currently having issues with my music backup specifically. it is not syncing things like it actually should. i end up missing half of my music on my laptop that actually has some really good speakers and my music tends to revert from changes that i made on my desktop. documents wise i have not noticed anything wrong with those specifically. same with my pictures. my pictures and documents are rarely updated. i have re-installed AeroFS on both computers and no luck in fixing my issues. well it fixed them for like a few weeks then they came back. i love the program cause it has no cost to me and is limitless in file sizes. i trust and use this program ONLY because Windows LIVE Mesh ended up being canned. i used its client to client syncing almost religiously. this is the ONLY program that did what Windows LIVE Mesh did effectively and easily for no cost to me. well as mentioned before it DID work effectively and efficiently for all of 2 months since its release.
as far as i can tell i'm the only one with the major bug i am having. i have contacted support and am waiting for a response. this program gets 3 stars because it seem to be buggy and difficult at times. music is hard to sync but documents seem to work and so do pictures. i recommend this program especially if you are looking for a VIABLE replacement for Windows LIVE Mesh's client to client syncing capabilities.
