"Do Not Use - Contains Malicious SpyWare!"
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: This program contains spyware known as NewDotNet. Do NOT install this DVD player. I would suggest using VideoLAN VLC instead.

Cons: Again - Contains a virus! I assumed Download.com would be virus-free. My mistake.

Pros: Well I guess a pro for this product would be the fact that it actually plays. I had no problem playing a DVD for half an hour and it ran smoothly.
Cons: Now here is where the product dies. Spyware, Adware, anything you can think of this product is loaded with it. I downloaded it an hour ago and did not think anything of the product except to use it to watch some DVDs. And that is when the problem started. My PC began to lag so I checked up some reviews here and noticed the number of disgruntled users. Needless to say immediatly I turned on Ad-aware, Spybot S and D, and have PC-cillin running. Ad-aware detected over 200 Ad wares! Spybot found 40ish spywares and PC-cillin is still scanning for viruses. Also with the downloaded product it installed a search program that overrides your main search bar. SO when I type a search into my search bar it takes me to an engine named Quick instead of my usual MSN search.
My fault for not reading the guidelines and reviews for the product, don't make the same mistake as me. I created a CNET account just for this purpose, to let others know not to download this program and make the same mistake I did.

"A great player. Virus-Free, Spyware/Adware-Free"
Pros: This is a free product, it will play most video files on your computer as well it will play DVD's. (Note: You still need a computer DVD player for DVD's to play.) It has basic features and they all work. Download/Installation was extremely quick.
Cons: Video size is big, but will not go full-screen unless you purchase the PRO version, you are - however able to use the zoom button, but the picture may get a little distored.
