Version: Advanced WindowsCare Professional 2.5.1 922
"Fast, Safe, Easy, and Effective Repair and Optimization"
Pros: My computer boots faster, runs faster, new windows open faster, there is lower memory/cpu usage, faster webpage loading & internet connection, & no more blue screen errors or other program errors.
The first time running it found:
4 Spyware problems, 2000+ security problems, ~200 relevant & invalid registry errors, 30 optimizations, start up entries, & ~20MB in temporary & privacy files. Later scans mostly detect just registry & privacy/temp files problems unless you get spyware or new security issues arise.
To go further in depth with what this program does: The spyware scan isn't phenomenal but does the job, the Security Defense scan immunizes you before spyware can even install, the registry scanner is highly sophisticated & frequently updated so that it easily compares with top products like Registry Mechanic, Iolo System Mechanic, & TweakNow RegCleaner, the start up scan finds start up entries & classifies known safe/unsafe entries, & the privacy & temporary files scans pick up junk or old files on your computer that slow it down or compromise your security. Best of all is the System Analysis Scan that finds Windows Services, visual effects, & settings that slow your computer.
In the System Analysis there is Daily Use, Entertainment, & Top Performance. Business Users can select Office Work, Server, & Computing Computer Types. There is also a "General" computer type for those unsure. There are also internet connection types: DSL (cable, dsl, satellite), LAN, & Dial-Up as well as the "General" type.
There is auto update & auto scanning options for log off & scheduled times & extra tools for your computer like a memory cleaner & system information viewer. If you do find you like this product, try Advanced Spyware Remover by Evonsoft (same programmer, old website for programs that haven't been completed yet) & also try SmartDefrag from Iobit.com (Available on site)
Also, there is now a support forum (see website) - you may chat by email or gtalk if you have it as well.
Cons: This is an All-in-One tool although SmartDefrag has not been integrated into the program yet. The is true for Advanced Spyware Remover- it's not integrated and there is a free version, but like other free versions of antispyware it does not function as well as the pro version
The only major issue you may find with this product would be that the program window does not have a Maximized window button so the size of the window... is the size of the window.
