"Dishonest company, NEVER provide credit details or buy."

    March 22, 2013  |   By _Ka_Ren_

    Provide free version

BAD ETHICS, once they get your credit info, best to replace your credit card else risking them charging you after few years of you opting out of their auto-buy system.

100% Money Back Guarantee within 60 days of purchase with no questions asked is faked.

Base on what i read on
some customers did get back their refund but many still didn't.

Slows your pc after some time of use.

Brought ASC version 3 in 2010 and log in my account to untick auto-buy on same day i download the paid version. Ever had a bad experience another software when i just had my first pc thus even till now i have a habit of reading n untick any auto-buy for all my purchase. 2011 release ASC version 4 i am not made to pay for that version. I have uninstall ASC version 3 after some time of using as it slow my pc down and i've bad reviews from google regarding slowing down our pc and adding spyware in their software. In 2012 this company charge me for ASC version 5 and 19/1/2013 they charge me for ASC version 6. The email is sent by Avangate on behalf of iObit informing me they have deduct USD$19.95 from my bank for ASC version 6 and provides me a link for download and key to unlock the software. I email the company on 7/3/13 to request for a refund but they avoid my questions and complaints on email and proceed with promoting their software and instructions on how to download it, i get really pissed after some time so become aggressive in my email, finally on 20/3/13 i get a reply informing their company policy only provide refunds within 30days of purchase. Their main site state clearly 60days money back with no questions asked.

Basically they have delay my email request for refund till 60days pass and then told me their money back is for 30days period thus i am not allowed for refund.

Most importantly is their ethics! I've to replace my credit card as despite exiting from their auto buy system in 2010 and never ever visit their site again i am put back into their auto buy system in 2012. They claim i've opt for auto-buy at the point when i buy their software like other customers, but was not able to explain if so why i am NOT made to buy ASC version 4 in 2011.

Thanks Cicely for aiding with the refund.
As i've already open a bank dispute regarding this issue, bank agree to help getting the refund after my credit card replacement, i actually thought it was due to the bank when i get an email from Avangate on 27/3/13 informing me they are cancelling my order. I checked with bank on the 2/4/13 but it wasn't processed yet. On the 7/4/13 i get an email from Cicely nicely asking if i have get my refund, i checked since i am refunded, coming here to update then i saw this 2 replies to my review here. Thank you again Cicely for being helpful, speedy and friendly.
I wanted to point out, maybe there are some misunderstanding somewhere as i did brought the ASC version 3 in 2010 & have cancel auto renew right after i download it. I wasn't made to buy/pay for ASC version 4 in 2011 but billed in 2012 and 2013 when i didn't expect such thing to happen.

I am happy & grateful that i am refunded for ASC version 6 (2013).

This is the IObit Support Team.

For the auto-renew issue, there should be some misunderstandings. We do provide auto-renew option but customer can disable this option. Once disabled, there won't be any auto-renew orders in future. So please contact to get help directly.

Regarding the refund policy, there is also a misunderstanding. The program you purchased is Advanced SystemCare PRO, whose money back guarantee only covers 30 days. You can refer to the Advanced SystemCare PRO product page:

60 days money back guarantee is for another IObit product, Advanced SystemCare Ultimate.

At last, we'd like to mention that IObit never adds or integrates spyware in the software. All our programs are highly tested. Users can load any IObit files to for analyzing.

So to make all things clear, please contact IObit Support via We surely will give you a satisfactory answer.

Y'know mate...First, have you ran a Anti-Malware scanner like IObit's Malware Fighter? (use the free one w/definitions and just scan.Better yet get Highjack This! from Major Geeks and send the results to attn:Cicely and she will be more than happy to help you out even with your billing problems.Really, she is wonderful and you will have a smile on your face. I am not a 'techie', but I do consult on Multi-tiered security systems and other related items. I myself really push IObit ASC Ultimate6 Pro (which has a Bitdefender av engine and a Malware scanner as well as a complete maintenance and optimization series. It does everything but wash dishes for you!
