    "Slows my computer down"

    Creates constant unecessary Restore points

    Summary

    The tools with ASC seem to work but basically all ASC does is call up Windows programs to do the work. I quit using ASC's Uninstall because it creates Restore Points. Also, it seems every Deep Scan creates Restore points. If you have ever wondered why your antivirus scans take forever, it is because the scans get to your Restore points and crawl through them one by one and take forever. Also I have noticed that ASC itself is notoriously slow to load.

    You might try disabling Active Boost. That's what I did. I have a dual-core processor. Active Boost did seem to slow down my computer. That feature may work better with a quad-core processor.
