  "PUSHES unwanted software!"

  Pros

  Initially, it did a great job of getting a glitchy computer to straighten out.

  Cons

  After over a year of generally satisfied use on 12 computers, the ASC software requested I approve the installation of Microsoft Silverlight. I did not approve the installation but Silverlight was installed anyway.
  
  Earlier, a computer became infected with a trojan horse which was not detected by ASC but was by Security Essentials.
  
  Also, there is no way to keep it from continuously deleting your browsing history.

  Summary

  Avoid this software if you don't like the idea of it pushing third party applications onto your computer without warning.

  "Maximum Time Saver"

  Pros

  Easy install, interface and basically "set and forget."

  Cons

  No cons that I can determine at the moment.

  Summary

  As a doctoral student, I have limited time, and cannot afford a steep learning curve. This product resolved my computer's 45 malware threats; 7,523 privacy issues; 58 shortcuts errors; 1 desk error; 150 registry errors; 12 performance issues; 7 security holes and 635.2 MB of junk files in about 5 minutes after loading. I was stunned at at well this product restored the functionality of my back-up laptop. Every student should consider this product an essential tool to stay up and running.

  "The best tool for system care, ever."

  None so far!

  Summary

  I've used ASC for quite a while now, and the previous versions were really good. This is even better! I don't use the antivirus so I don't know if it's good or not, but I assume it would be because it uses the Bit-defender engine, rated #1 the last few years. The system care tools are brilliant, fast and always useful. Even the uninstaller is fantastic as it removes hidden files, leftover from installation.
