Version: Advanced SystemCare Free 3.1.2
"This program is worth downloading"
Pros: The list of system maintenance tools is impressive. Great defragger, nice cleaner, good registry tool and nice list of other freebies given.
Cons: The change in the layout makes it a bit less of a one click solution. I much prefer the old layout, allowing a single click to run all parts of the application in sequence without having to go to different sections of the program.
Summary: I ran this program for 6 months on Windows XP in conjunction with SmartDefrag, also made by the same company. I was running a single core processor at 1.87 Ghz with 512 Mbs of RAM and my system ran faster than many of my friends with quadruple the RAM and dual core processors running the same OS and the same programs. This kept my old machine running at top speed with minimal slowdown.
I've recommended it to all of my friends and have had no complaints about its performance.
