Version: Advanced SystemCare Free 3.1.0
"Versatile & fast, but be cautious"
Pros: 1. nice-looking interface
2. many, many, MANY user tools, ranging from RAM optimizer to security tools and lots of others
3. relatively fast scanning & very quick repairCons: A little too powerful... be careful when using the System Optimizer under the "Diagnose System" tab, as it can set back a lot of settings you probably won't want changed. Also prepare for a slower startup.
Summary: In general, SystemCare is a really polished programme. And I spent almost an hour trying out all of the tools it came with -- really nice stuff.
There's a few setbacks that need re-mentioning though. First, the tool that checks for updates to your programmes is whacky -- if there are any beta versions out there, it will suggest updating; and it sometimes is just plain wrong (it said that I should update to Yahoo Widgets v14, which doesn't exist).
Second, the registry "repairs" can make it so Task Manager and other things look like they're from Windows95.
And lastly, I found the startup time greatly slowed after installing...
