"Best freeware program for cleaning"

Pros
This software gives as much as none other can give at free of cost. It gives a thgroughtout cleaner like CCleaner + a whole kit of essential programs like, unistaller, privacy cleaner etc. The cleaning power is alo better than many of the paid programms.
Cons
It is heavier and runs a little slowly. For new version of program, the option of downloading only required (changed) components should be available. Currwently, the whole new setup of program has to be downloaded.
Summary
I think this is the firts cleaner to support Windows 8 beta.

provides an easy way to keep the computer running in an managable state. keeps garbage from collecting , gives easy access to stat-up items and services cleans registry and will defragment both the hard drive and the registry. many different tools that help optimize the whole machine.
Cons
its a mistery what the program is using as a criterion for what is and is not important while it eliminates registry entries and junk files and so forth , but there is a backup system restore funtion so it would be hard to do that much damage .
Summary
a free program for keeping you computer in working order , hard to beat that . Plus with added tools like a pretty good uninstaller and a defragmenter that isnt perfect but kees things in line. I have it on all my computers and use it often .

Fixed registry errors on my laptop. I was unable to install Windows 7 on my laptop due to registry errors, but as soon as I installed and ran Advanced SystemCare, Windows 7 installed succesfully.
Cons
I really have nothing adverse to say about this software. You have to try it out for yourself.
Summary
Very effective software. Does what it promises. Very pleased with it and I highly recommend it to all PC users.

Unfortunately I only used free version but just yet....
Cons
I used PC Tools on 286-386 systems and Norton Utilities on newer ones and I can say is a well done tool and personally I find it very functional as long as you know exactly what you are doing. I also believe it would be useful an integrated disk editor for manual corrections.
Summary
Like everything in the world this is perfectible.I rate it at 4 stars for what it is and 1/2 for encouragement.

Many functions; all work well. A pleasure to use, even for relatively inexperienced users. In the free version, you can't beat the price.
Cons
I haven't used all of the tools, but so far nothing significant.
Summary
ASC Free was good before, but now it is more than that. Much better than its competition, it's in a class by itself.

I have looked and bought most of the competitors to Advanced System Care. I have used them and then discarded them. I am offering you a chance to save your money and give you some piece of mind. There is none better. Really!
Cons
The software is intimidating. The things it can do is scary. But if you will use it; take the time to read it's directions; you will be secure in knowing there is nothing better out there.
Summary
I know this software will work for you becasue I have spend literally thousands of dollars looking for it. I have tried many if not all the products out there. If it will work and protect my VERY complicated, huge system, it will work for anything else out there. If you don't get it then you have no one to blame but yourself, and if you really need this kind of product, you will be back.

does almost everything needed: deep registry cleaning; disk check for file-system errors; registry compaction; patching security holes; windows performance optimization; erasing privacy traces; etc.
Cons
none, really. Takes a little while to open; but many such programs do.
Summary
In addition to the features listed above in 'Pros' - ASC has the Active-Boost feature which optimizes RAM usage and running processes. All in all, this is a "complete package"; and to upgrade to the Pro version does not cost much, either. Sometimes IObit offers discounts too, if you get on their mailing list; they do not pester you with too much email or ads. There is also a neat Tool-Box which integrates the IObit Smart-Defrag utility and other system maintenance tools.
It just keeps getting better and better with the improvements added to each incremental upgrade.

cleans everything......... computer runs better and faster and I am one of the many users that has no problem paying $20 year for the pro version to keep up my computer!
