    "A.S.O. v3+ REIGNS SUPREME"

    October 5, 2012  |   By ReplyToADumbArse

    Version: Advanced System Optimizer 3.5.1000.13999

    Pros

Lately A.S.O. Has been the reigning king of the all-in-one suites as no lockups or hangs as with earlier versions the security malware blocking module would lock system up hang and have to be shut off at TaskManager, NOT SO in the last two months, superb performance. ok with that being said, to You both, I now in reply to:

    Cons

    CNET EDITOR:

Yes A.S.O. v3+ Not ONLY CLAIMS TO FIX HARD DRIVE ERRORS... '"IT DOES BY ALL MEANS'" AS do some other utilities (names withheld). In fact (if one scans for surface errors on the suspect hard drive) it sets bad sectors (if any are encountered during scan) as allocated so they will not be used again (if one wants that) and so yeah in effect it 'TRULY FIXES DRIVE ISSUES' Drive lifespans (on 24/7) vary, but I replace my drives after they have been in use (and health of them declines to under 48%) after being on 24/7 for 2-3 years they are bound to fail depending upon the quality of said drive(s)... w.d. velociraptors can go many years without replacement and after 3 years my two 300GB drives are still well over 70-73% health. BUT I paid hefty for them also... SEE END OF SUMMARY FOR (MORE INFO ON THIS)

    Summary

At any rate; Hands down the clear winner of the all-in-one maintenance/ security/ tweak/ 'fix it' suites is by far A.S.O. v3+ (latest 10/2012 version) I have tried them all (names with-held) which to date the number is at: 16 suites tried, A.S.O. still is hands down the one that I have installed on all five (5) PC's here. Why? It covers (nearly 98% of all Our major PC concerns here, and it is 98% automated (once a schedule is set for each module) AND it leaves not a thing out that concerns me whatsoever. Auslogic's Boost Speed V5.x+ and above includes (some) a few additional tweaks that A.S.O. does not have, but they are nice-a-ties is all they are. A.S.O. includes heaps more than A.B.S. and overall ranks a lot higher it includes it all (nearly), and so:

    THE BEST PC (ALL-IN-ONE)
    Maintenance/ Security/ Tweak/ Fixer/ Monitor IS:

    #1 A.S.O. (Advanced System Optimizer) V3+ *IMDPCUE

#2 AUSLOGIC'S BOOST SPEED V5.x ( Fabulous Suite, but has a few more bugs than A.S.O., yet includes a few nice-a-ties A.S.O. Does not include that let You set some system registries to allow/ dis-allow minor settings such as messaging the user and User GUI settings within the O.S. and related softwares for overall User XPerience(s). A.S.O. has more that matters, and handles those matters nicely and automatically. and that's why it's #1 with Us here. Cheers to set it forget it computing!

END OF SUMMARY INFO IN THIS:

My lower quality drives (on 24/7 same amount of time) are at 53% health! The life of solid state drives is a lot less, as the chips wear out sooner than platter media (legacy drives). Single switching drives which big companies use (single cell memory) last a lengthier time, and are much faster, but lifespans of SSD's are far shorter than that of platter media (legacy drives). You pay hefty for multi-switch SSD's and extremely more-so for single-switch SSD's.

    "This Includes A Security Tool."

    September 4, 2012  |   By rioshenry36

    Version: Advanced System Optimizer 3.5.1000.13999

    Pros

Nice concept of developing an all in 1 product. Most importantly there is an Antispyware also in this suite.
Worth for $ as if gonna buy Individual Tools then it may raise the expense to more then 10 times.
    Almost everything is there.

    Cons

The complete PC scan with various utilities some times take more time. Else is fine.

"Downloaded the product went downhill from there"

    August 31, 2012  |   By budinspokane

    Version: Advanced System Optimizer 3.5.1000.13999

    Pros

No Pros, after it was used, it destroyed my computer to the point it wouldn't work--cost me 300 dollars to fix it using the toll free help number provided by Advanced System Optimizer--bad deal all the way around--stay away from their registry fixer--much better to go to a computer company or the Geeks at best buy and have them optimize your computer

    Cons

The Registry fixer takes out everything---a computer technician should be the only person using this program--it even kept system restore from working--changed the screen layout--slowed the computer to a snails pace--really screwed up my computer--cost 300 dollars to fix using their company

    Summary

Do not buy and C-net should not recommend it--NOBODY SHOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Advance Optimizer ran a scan and showed hundreds of errors--the computer was just scanned by a tech and there were some errors but mostly in the registry and didn't even come close to 100 much less 1000--might dump a bunch of stuff onto your computer to make you think you need their program--something rotten in Denmark as the old saying goes--had to buy the program to fix the problems--it pretty much wiped out my computer when they ran the fix especially the registry cleaner--only let a trained technician do this

    Updated on Sep 11, 2012

Do not buy nor use unless you are an expert on computers. The Registry cleaner etc totally put my computer out of commission. It even disabled the restore to a different time option. Changed the display to a resolution that was so low it was hard to read. They had a help number to call and I did. Cost 300 dollars to fix my computer.
