Version: Advanced Searchbar 3.36
Pros: It does what the corporate ads say, but there are other problems.
Cons: If you read the preceding reviews here, you'll find that all those favorable reviews are likely written by one company person. They all have similar phrasings, all are double checked for spelling/typing errors, and all are in denial of any problems. This toolbar is, in fact, adware and you should avoid it like all others of the same ilk - unless you don't mind that your personal info is being send out to where-ever.

"I kind of had problems with it... Well, not "kind of"..."
Pros: Sorry, but I have nothing good to say about it.... It was NOT a good experience.
Cons: First of all, the installation didn't go so well - and this was on my brand new computer. Secondly, whenever I ran my spyware software, it always detected it as adware and would delete something off of it (I guess to protect my PC) and the screen would freeze the next time I tried to use it. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling and NOT running my spyware detector, it gave me way too much grief and I had to just get the whole thing off my computer. Sorry, but I really suggest not using it. You'd think that because it had a lot of stars that it might be good - but not.

"Well, I had to give up this bar...."
Cons: I found one much better. The Gadgetbar Toolbar tops this one in searching, getting rid of spyware and viruses and much more. Sorry, but Gadgetbar is way better.

Pros: Does what it advertised.
Cons: I ran trendmicro and spyware remover and a few other products that came with this toolbar and they picked up a ton of malware........ MOSTLY UNDER ADVANCED SEARCHBAR'S NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
