Editors' reviewAlthough this no-frills application initially appeared to be a better choice than many dedicated CD-ripping programs, stability problems help to keep it down. Advanced MP3 Music Extractor can extract tracks in the WAV, MP3, and OGG formats and supports both constant and variable-bit-rate ripping. The interface couldn't be easier to understand, although you will have to push a button to retrieve track information from the Net. Unlike many demos in this class of products, this particular example will rip as many discs as you like for 20 days. That's refreshing, but in some tests, the program failed to rip certain tracks on a dish, instead freezing up and forcing us to close it via the Task Manager. Advanced MP3 Music Extractor has some promise, but we only can cautiously suggest it at the current time.
Advanced MP3 Music Extractor is an easy-to-use and powerful CD grabber, which will read your regular audio CDs and convert the tracks to MP3 music files. The program is very easy to use: you can start making high-quality MP3s immediately, without making any complicated settings. In addition to MP3 encoding support, Advanced MP3 Music Extractor also can create OGG, WMA (Windows Media Player), and WAV music files. Advanced users will be able to change the default settings that the program comes with to discover a complete, powerful CD-grabbing program: constant and variable bit rate, encoding quality setting, bit-rate setting and file normalization, which will make sure all of your songs have about the same volume.
