"Very effective and easy to use software."
Pros: It has standard Windows look, nothing complex at all.
Cons: It took about 5 minutes to learn how to do what I need.

"Good, but might not be best for bucks"
Pros: Advanced JPEG compressor allows tweaking into detailed aspect of photo compression. Not for beginner.
Cons: Too difficult. Not for home users.
Too expensive for just image compression only
2009? The developer should look Image Compressor 2008. It's more expensive but also has tons of other features this software don't have.Summary: Try it. But you have to buy before seeing the actual result :( read more
