"The most useful piece of software I own"

Pros
FAST! Can handle quite a large database. I'm currently indexing over half a million files and searches are still near-instant. I don't know how I'd find anything without it.
Cons
Searches can be a pain if you have files that use characters other than space to separate words. To find "I_Love_Rick_Astley.jpg" you would have to search "*Rick?Astley*", but "Rick Astley" would work if spaces were used instead of underscores.
Summary
There are plenty of features that can be enabled to suit your archival needs. It can scan compressed archives and index their contents, for instance, or this feature can be disabled if it's unnecessarily slowing down your disc scanning. You can also assign specific files/folders/discs to categories to easily find specific types of things. You can also comment on any file, which can also be searched. This can be extremely helpful if you've accidentally misnamed a file and don't want to burn another disc.
If you archive your data to writable media and need to find stuff with ease, this is the product for you! -

It costs the same as Wincatalog 2009, but really complies with all the features that Wincatalog 2009 only offers, and does it without wasted time, without crashes and other nightmares.

This software allows searching for files within subfolders and then lets sort and export the list of the results to a text file. Amazing!!!
Cons
None!!! An absolutely professional product. Highly recommended to try it if you want to create lists of files found on the computer disks.
Summary
Advanced File Organizer was able to accomplish the task of locating specific files within subfolders of a particular folder on a disk, then have the results sorted by numerous specific aspects, and export the list to a file, such as an HTML with additional options. Simply something I couldn't find in Windows Explorer.

If you deal with large and lots of files and backups, this software it’s a must! Save your time and efforts, by knowing exactly where to look for in a breeze! It has a simple and yet very powerful interface, that will satisfy advance users as well. Highly recommended!!!

"Great program, tough registration process"

Pros
Scans all drives, CD's, DVD's, collects information about all files, not only music and videos. Great for keeping a database of all your files in order and in once place. Very intutitive, easy to use, very stable.
Cons
I've purchased a full version of this program and found registration not friendly at all. It rejected all web-based (non-POP) email addresses, stating "This e-mail address is anonymous. Enter another one". I think that's crazy. If I'm giving you my money, take it or get lost! Also, after the system finally accepted my e-mail and payment, I've received a "Thank you" e-mail, promising to send my registration key "Within 1 business day". At the end of the next business day nothing arrived. I've sent them two more e-mails and finally got my registration key. I think there are much more efficient, faster ways to handle shareware purchases. Some people don't know how to take money that's being given them...

"I love this program!!!"

Summary
A brilliant program I have now used for 6 months or so. Incredible speed in cataloging and searching. Can set up misc. categories mixing CD's, hard drive and other files. Doing a search for a single phrase on a fairly fast XP Windows system of more than a 100 gig took about 3 seconds to gather up as many as a hundred different items. This items can then be opened from the program or application launched.
