"Does All I Need it to Do .... And Then Some."
Version: Adobe Reader (Pocket PC) 2
Pros
Easy installation. Navigation is quicker than I expected when moving around & viewing different areas of the document. Zoom & jump to features are slick and save time but I really REALLY like the "find" feature. Now there's a time saver for me.
Cons
Can't seem to access a help file on the app. Normally when the icon is tapped, the app itself opens where you can find details such as version & help info etc. In my case when I tap on the Adobe Reader icon, the previously viewed file reopens. Hmmmm
Summary
Well worth the money spent. (lol it's free) Kidding aside, I would without hesitation recommend this app for your devise. You can't go wrong. If it turns out you're disappointed, perhaps you need to think about trying a paid for version.

"Nice tool to have but Adobe needs to update."
Version: Adobe Reader (Pocket PC) 2
Pros
Nice tool to have. I had this installed on my LG Incite and it was handy.
Cons
I upgraded the native O/S through LG's website. Now, when reinstalling, I get a message saying "Reader cannot be installed. Try installing again in a different location." I have plenty of space on device. Also tried installing on SD with no success.
Summary
Due to issues with the native O/S that came on the phone, I updated the phone?s O/S through LG's website. Now, even though this greatly improved the overall performance of my device, when I try to reinstall, I get a message saying "Adobe Reader for Pocket PC 2.0 cannot be installed. Please try installing again in a different location."
I have plenty of space left on the device so I shouldn?t have any issues of this type. I've even tried installing to the removable drive with no success.
I believe Adobe hasn?t updated this program since 2003. This is a long time when you consider how often most software gets updated and although the program is compatible with newer pdf formats, I believe there are other device issues that Adobe needs to hash out. Even when I installed Acrobat 2.0 on my device before my O/S upgrade, I received warnings that there were known issues between Acrobat 7, (the PC version that 2.0 mobile version is based on) and Windows Vista.
Over all, the software is very capable with several drawbacks. First, I was unable to open pdf documents directly from the source file. When I selected a pdf document within ?File Explorer? Acrobat responded by opening and promptly closing. Only when I opened Acrobat and selected a pdf document from within the program dialog was I able to open a file. Even then, the program dialog only allows browsing files in first directory, i.e. (Storage\file folder\any.pdf), or (Device\Documents\file folder\any.pdf). -

"A great program."
Version: Adobe Reader (Pocket PC) 2
Pros
If you're familiar with Adobe Acrobat, tags, & bookmarks you can make documents easy to move around in. This is better than a lot of programs out there.
Cons
The interface might be too complex for new users.
Summary
The best program in its class -- for now.
