As there are a lot if pros for this software, too many to list out here, I'll just say that the number of tools at your dispense is fantastic and the outcomes of your project are infinite.

Basically, it is a fantastic photo editing program and probably the best in the market. There are a few drawbacks such as the price tag and the skills required as well as the large files created for photoshop projects. However, this is aimed at professional users and is fantastic for that audience.
I recommend obtaining an above average computer for photoshop as it tends to use up a relativelly high amount of CPU usage and RAM.
