"Great Product!"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.0
Pros
Great for RAW files. Does a great job enhancing photos. Quick processing.
Cons
None. Everything about this product is beautiful.
Summary
I bought my Adobe Photoshop Lightroom at Tveak.com. They had it a good price. And it's worth it because I enjoy and find it very useful with all my Photoshop needs.

"Do you really need this AND Photoshop-YES, YES , YES"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.2
Pros
So i already had Photoshop CS5, so i wasnt sure if i could justify the extra expense of adding Lightroom 3 to my phototools, (i am a pro-photographer in a small market) but i shoot a LOT OF PHOTOGRAPHS.
Cons
Like most Adobe products the learning curve is straight UP!!! But once you get into the program and try all the modules you will see the flow really works.
Summary
So i already had Photoshop CS5, so i wasnt sure if i could justify the extra expense of adding Lightroom 3 to my phototools, (i am a pro-photographer in a small market) but i shoot a LOT OF PHOTOGRAPHS. Last week alone i shot almost 1,000 pictures at 3 different events. I downloaded the Lightroom 3 to try it out and IMMEDIATELY could see a big difference in the volume of work output, versus using Photoshop alone. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing this before the trial expires. Another good thing about Lightroom is the abundance of Presets out there for FREE. Try PresetHeaven.com. The speed with which you can import catalogs and actually do work on the whole catalog is worth the price of the product alone just to cut down on the amount of time spent at the computer. Of all the photo manipulation tools this has to be one of the best i have ever used.

"I expected a lot; LR 3 delevered even more"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.0
Pros
The improvement in the Import function is overlooked by the other ways Lightroom has exceeded expectations.
Cons
As of today, four days after installation--none.
Summary
Well worth an upgrade from LR 2; an even better deal if starting out new.

"ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PHOTO ENHANCEMENT SOFTWARE of 2010."
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.0
Pros
I love everything about this application. It is much easier to use than photoshop and it does a far better job enhancing photographs.
Cons
There really is nothing wrong with it.
Summary
Lightroom is design with the photographer in mind. This package has the most intuitive photo correction tools, clarity adjustment, blemish remover, and the best noise reduction filter I have ever used. Lightroom is designed with the photographer in mind.

"Weak effort, wasted money"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.4
Pros
I was hoping this was the answer to reviewing and cataloging my various hard drives full if photos, but after months of struggle and frustration, I have given up and thrown away all the time and effort of bending my workflow to Adobe's way.
Cons
with the 64 bit version you can't burn DVDs or CDs
you cant review a shoot until you slowly upload them to lightroom.
The RAW converter has very bad color managment especially with loaded reds and yellows.Summary
The interface is much , much less flexible than any other product from
Adobe (except the much reviled Bridge) having plunked down money I hate to give up, but Ill go back to ACDSee and CaptureOne and count my money well spent. -
"Must-Have Photography Tool !!!"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.2
Pros
Killer photo editing features (like being able to paint saturation, exposure, contrast, etc.), excellent workflow and really easy archival of pics. Noise removal is pretty good, although not as good as Noise Ninja.
Cons
While the adjustment brush is the coolest feature, it will slow down your pc a bit. Not so much as to be annoying, just something to note.
Summary
This program just feels comfortable and meets all my needs as far as post processing is concerned. It makes quick work of editing and allows me to spend more time shooting and less tweaking. I have an old version of Photoshop, but because I'm not a graphic artist, I really don't use it to it's potential....no need to pay that much $ for the few features I need. And many of the features that Lightroom shares with Photoshop, it does better anyway. I had thought about updating to the latest CS4, but once I tried the Lightroom demo, I was hooked.

"Bait and switch"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1
Pros
Lets you edits RAW files
Cons
Bait and switch. This is NOT "unlimited" freeware, it is 30 trail for a product that costs $400 Australian
Summary
Dishonest bait and switch tactics.
-
"Bait and switch"
Version: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom beta 4
Pros
Good program, maybe, if you have $400 spare
Cons
Advertises itself as "no limitations" free software for a beta version but in reality this is a 30 day trial of $400 software, NOT beta.
Summary
Just another bait and switch. It might be a good product but I dislike the dishonesty.
