Version: Adobe InDesign CS3
Pros: I have only used the CS3 version of InDesign. I am a graphic Artist, and it allows me to do exactly what I need to flawlessly. Booklets, brochures, magazines, ect.
Cons: Nothing significant. Some controls and shortcuts and s little different than other Adobe software, which was annoying at first, but I got over it. The only rival to this program is Quark.

"Evolved form of Pagemaker, but still the same product"
Pros: Like Pagemaker, its ability to incorporate Adobe Photoshop software is what propels this software to the professional level of desktop publishing, there are a few more features than Pagemaker could, and they kept the Pagemaker toolbar as well.
Cons: Trying to find where the old Pagemaker controls are, since those same controls are needed to design newspapers and magazines in Indesign. Otherwise, two very similar programs.
