Since we are in the offical MAC OS X area for reviews, I will say we purchsed a CS Suite (1 license) and I have sucessfully installed it on 2 machines not on a LAN. (MAC version). I will also say I love ID3. We do 12 catalogs a year. My company makes a great deal of money from them (50 page cats). Anyway, our printers dogged Quark and told us (the client) that if we prefer InDesign CS, they will buy it also to move away from Quark. I was pretty relieved to hear that since I just started building a new test catalog with CS. I am not experienced in ID but the basic improvements over Quarks laziness to innovate seem so... DUH! As a designer, who hates redundantcy, I congratulate Adobe for their dedication to their craft. Monopoly or not, it just makes sense. It works like a real app. I was ready to kill Quark for all the money spent on 3 full versions which turned out to be slow, and frustrating under deadlines. Crap. So, for my week of happy discoveries and testing, I give Adobe what they deserve. We make money, and it's all because of them when you look at the tools. From the frontlines.. thanx Adobe.
